Completion Of Concrete Pavement At Okhunmwun Road Benin City, Edo State

If you saw our previous post on the transformation of Okhunmwun Road, Benin City, then you already saw how this road went from a rough, muddy stretch to a properly constructed asphalt road.
(You can catch up with the post Here https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1HhyCsuLK2/)
But there was another interesting part of this same project.
Before the main asphalted section of the road, the first 40 metres from the front towards Ugbowo Express Road were done with concrete pavement.
So, rather than having the entire stretch look exactly the same, the road was constructed in two sections — concrete pavement at the first 40 metres, followed by the main asphalted road.
And just like we showed in the first post, this was another project we executed for Gorrion Engineering Limited in 2024.
From the first stage of the work to the finished road, you can literally see the transformation happening step by step.
Sometimes, the best way to appreciate the finished road is to look back at where we started.
This is another part of the Okhunmwun Road story. Same project. Same year. Same transformation.
If you missed the first part, go back and check it out. Then come back here and connect the dots.
What do you think about the way this project came together?
