When Water Starts Fighting the Land, This Is How You Fight Back.
Erosion doesn’t usually announce itself. It starts with water cutting through the soil, gradually weakening the land and creating bigger problems if nothing is done.
At Okpuno, Anambra State, we carried out this erosion control project for PFAZE CONTRACTORS LIMITED, putting the right drainage structure in place to properly channel water and help protect the surrounding area.
The work involved the excavation and preparation of the drainage channel, formwork, reinforcement and concrete works, taking the project from an open earth channel to a properly constructed drainage system.
While these photos are from 2023, they remain a good example of the importance of getting drainage and erosion control right from the beginning.
Because when water has no proper direction, it will create one for itself.
