Completion Of Admin Building For AMENDI, Cross River State

From An Unfinished Project To A Completed Administrative Building
Some construction projects come with a clean slate. Others come with a story.
This is one of those stories.
At Obudu, Cross River State, an Administrative Building for the Agricultural Machinery and Equipment Development Institute (AMEDI) was already under construction when the project came to us.
The project had started in 2023 under another construction company, but for reasons beyond our scope to explain, the building was left incomplete.
It was later entrusted to Cidest Global Services LTD, through Diamond Leeds Limited, to take over and bring the project to completion in 2024.
And that meant stepping into a project we didn’t start, understanding what had already been done, working with the existing structure, and carefully taking it from where it stopped to where you see it today.
One thing you may notice is that we don’t have pictures of the foundation stage. That’s because Cidest wasn’t responsible for the initial foundation work.
But construction isn’t always about who started the project.
Sometimes, it’s about who was trusted to finish it.
And this is the result.
Have you ever seen a project that was started by one contractor and completed by another?
What do you think about the transformation?
